"Acting Straight" is a queer comedy where dating becomes an experiment: a straight actress dates a lesbian to “research” a role, sparking a chain reaction of role-reversals, drag, and disastrous first dates. By swapping genders and expectations, two friends discover just how skewed modern dating — and empathy — really is.
